Mingleverse, which operates an online voice and video chat platform, this morning announced that it has raised $1.4 million in seed financing from Yaletown Venture Partners, unnamed angel investors and Mingleverse CEO Ron Stevens. Mingleverse plans to use the capital to ramp up marketing efforts for its mobile offering and move forward with integration into social networking platforms to help meet the needs of cellular carriers.
